Affiliation programs and the 1% success rates…
Here’s my short list of a success-ready affiliate program:
* Usability of the program’s business website.
* Quality of the business’s landing pages.
* Efficiecy of the business’s shopping cart.
* Questions are answered on the website.
* Not overplaying the option to phone in orders.
* IF price is a factor (commodity) the business price is competitive.
* Is the offer is a commodity there is some value added proposition.
* There IS an affiliate manager who has some track record and who “does the job well”.
* Etc (Add your own “signal of success-readiness”
